Paul Hobbs Wine Dinner at Paramour Recap

Dozens of local wine enthusiasts arrived eager to wine and dine with Matt Hobbs last Thursday, August 23rd, 2012 for the Paul Hobbs Wine Dinner at Paramour. The evening began with a friendly gathering featuring passed hors d’oeuvres and the crisp Paul Hobbs 2010 Crossbarn Chardonnay. Glasses were full and spirits were high in the Lobby Lounge where guests took advantage of the opportunity to speak one-on-one with Matt Hobbs about the history of the California winery. Paramour Beverage Director, Jennifer Pyle, was also in attendance to answer any questions about Paramour’s extensive wine list and compare wine notes.

Dinner was held in the formal dining room where guests sat down to a phenomenal four-course menu perfectly paired with the best from Paul Hobbs Wines. Paramour Executive Chef, Michael Giampa and Chef de Cuisine, Kyle Johnson visited with guests to discuss the menu and offer insight behind each pairing. The main course of American Buffalo with baked beans, grilled corn and goat cheese received rave reviews from the crowd.
