Paramour invites you to attend an exclusive wine pairing dinner with Matt Hobbs from the heralded Paul Hobbs Winery in Sonoma County, California. The dinner will take place on Thursday August 23, 2012, with a gathering in the Lobby Lounge beginning at 6:00PM. After sampling the fresh and floral 2010 Crossbarn Chardonnay with a selection of Paramour’s exquisite passed hors d’oeuvres, guests will be seated for dinner where the Chef will pair four special courses with extraordinary wines from both the Russian River Valley and from Argentina, where Paul Hobbs is also the owner and winemaker at Vina Cobos Winery.
Executive Chef Michael Giampa and his staff at Paramour have created exciting pairings highlighting the flavors, aromas and textures of both the food and wine, which include Smoked Trout Rillettes paired with 2009 ‘Felino’ Chardonnay from Mendoza, Argentina, Wild Salmon paired with 2008 Crossbarn Pinot Noir from California’s Russian River Valley and American Buffalo paired with both the 2010 ‘Felino’ Cabernet Sauvignon from Mendoza, Argentina and the 2008 Crossbarn Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley, California.
During the gathering and dinner you will have the opportunity to speak with the Chef about each carefully selected pairing and with Matt Hobbs about winemaking philosophy and the process of producing such exceptional wines.
