Health & Safety Policies

Our Commitment

As we welcome you back to the Wayne Hotel, we want to reassure you that the safety and well-being of our guests and staff continue to be our highest priority. We are committed to following CDC guidelines and providing a safe and welcoming environment during your stay as we continue to exceed our high standards of cleanliness.

Hotel Safety & Cleanliness

  • All staff are required to wear masks while on duty.
  • All hotel staff receive COVID-19 training for sanitation and safety.
  • Plexiglass partitions have been installed at the front desk to provide additional protection between hotel staff and guests.
  • We have increased the frequency of cleaning our public areas (including lobbies, elevators, door handles, public bathrooms, etc.).
  • Hand sanitizer stations have been installed throughout the property.
  • Informational and directional signage is posted throughout the property.
  • Credit card sales only. No cash sales.

Guest Room Cleanliness & Housekeeping

  • Guest Rooms are receiving enhanced cleaning, including high-touch areas before your stay.
  • When possible, we will leave guestrooms vacant for 24 hours before checking in a new guest.
  • Rooms will not be cleaned during guest stays, and housekeepers will not enter rooms while occupied.
  • Fresh towels and toiletries are always available upon request.

Food & Beverage Service

  • Rosalie is open daily serving Lunch, Dinner and Sunday Brunch
  • A Grab & Go Breakfast Snack will be offered to all guests each morning.
  • Coffee and Tea packets are available with a coffee maker in your hotel room.

Understanding that it is our responsibility to take measures to minimize the risks of exposure to the COVID-19 virus to keep all guests and employees safe, we appreciate your willingness to adhere to the Wayne Hotel’s Guest Health & Safety policies.

Guest Health & Safety

  • Practice physical distancing by standing at least six feet apart from others not traveling with you.
  • Wear a mask in common areas and when in close proximity to other guests or hotel staff.
  • Limit direct contact with staff by calling with any requests and/or questions by phone.
  • Please understand that early check-in and late check-out requests will not be honored.
  • Take the stairs if physically able to do so, in order to ensure that the elevators are available for those who are physically unable to take the stairs.
  • Because COVID-19 is contagious, you are voluntarily assuming the risk of exposure or infection by your decision to travel at this time.
  • If you have been exposed to COVID-19, or individuals with flu-like symptoms in the past 14 days or have symptoms of COVID-19 yourself (including a fever greater than 100.4 degrees, cough, shortness of breath, chills, sore throat, or new loss of taste or smell), please help us keep everyone safe by staying home and visiting at another time.
  • We ask that you follow all safety caution procedures, including the use of face masks, frequent handwashing and other recommendations from health authorities.
  • Self-screen for COVID-19 symptoms such as fever or cough prior to entering the hotel for check-in. If you develop symptoms during your stay, please contact the Front Desk to be put in touch with a local health care resource.
  • Read the latest Covid-related updates for travelers from the Pennsylvania Department of Health.

Because public health agency recommendations along with federal, state and local government mandates continue to evolve with the changing conditions regarding COVID-19, we will also continue to make changes to our own policies, strategies, and procedures as necessary. For your safety, some services or amenities such as fitness center, restaurant and bar may be modified or suspended.
