Chaine Des Rotisseurs Best Young Sommelier Competition 2016

Congratulations to Paramour’s resident Sommelier, Steven Gullo, who won 3rd Place in the 2016 Chaine des Rotisseurs Best Young Sommelier Competition!

The Chaine des Rotisseurs Best Young Sommelier Competition, held annually in Sonoma, tests the wine knowledge and service skills of a select group of young sommeliers from across the United States. The series of tests include blind tastings, table-side service skills performing Champagne service, decanting service, aperitifs/digestifs, and menu pairing, as well as written theory that encompasses the world of wine, spirits, beer, and cocktails. Competitors are judged and graded by accredited Master Sommeliers and Masters of Wine.
