A Toast to St Patrick’s Day
A note from David Brennan, General Manager of the Wayne Hotel [who hails] from Limerick, Ireland.
Please accept my warmest wishes for a wonderful St. Patrick’s Day celebration! While the origins of the holiday have their roots in Ireland, some of the largest celebrations now occur outside of the Emerald Isle. It’s certainly a day for everyone and anyone to celebrate being Irish – whether they are or not!
Ireland still rates as an exceptional destination and many go back at this time to celebrate with the natives. If you can’t make it to Ireland this year, let there be no fear. Almost everywhere I have lived in the world marked St. Paddy’s day in some way and Philadelphia ranks with the best of the celebrations.
Whether you plan on enjoying a fry-up, a pint of Guinness, a nip of Jameson or a Cereal Milk Martini with a sprinkle of Lucky Charms at Paramour, you’re guaranteed a great day.
Enjoy the wearin’ of the Green!
